5.1 Organizer Responsibility
When you create an event, you are the organizer. As organizer, you are responsible for: - Planning and execution of the activity - Choice of venue and ensuring the venue is suitable for the activity - Any permits that may be required - Participant safety to a reasonable extent - Ensuring the activity complies with the laws of the country where the event takes place
Buddies is not a party to agreements or arrangements between users. Buddies has no control over and takes no responsibility for the quality, safety, legality, or suitability of events created through the service.
Buddies does not perform risk assessments and does not provide safety equipment or insurance.
5.2 Participation
- Minimum 4 participants are required for an event to proceed. This is a product rule for group format — not a safety guarantee.

6. Reporting and Moderation
6.1 Report Users and Content
If a user or content violates these terms, you can report via the app (on the event, tap Participants, then three dots next to the person's name). We strive to review reports promptly but do not guarantee a specific response time.
6.2 Block Users
You can block users. This means: - The blocked person will not know you blocked them - You cannot see each other's public events - You cannot see public events where the other is already participating - Blocking does NOT apply to private events — the host is responsible for their guests - You can always leave an event
6.3 Content and Moderation
Buddies does not pre-screen all user-generated content and has no obligation to monitor content. However, we may act when we become aware of violations.
We may without prior notice: - Warn users - Temporarily freeze accounts - Permanently block accounts - Delete content (events, chat messages, profile information)
We reserve the right to remove any content that we deem violates these terms or that may harm the service or other users.

You retain rights to content you create (images, texts). By publishing in Buddies, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to display the content to other users within the service. Content you publish may be reviewed and removed by us in accordance with these terms.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 Service Availability
We strive to keep Buddies running without interruption but do not guarantee this. The service may be unavailable for maintenance or technical reasons.
9.2 Events
Buddies is a technical platform. All participation in physical activities is at your own risk.
We are NOT responsible for: - What happens at physical meetups - Other users' behavior, identity, or suitability - Damages (physical or psychological), losses, or disputes between users - Quality, safety, or legality of activities organized through the service
This applies to both private and public events.
Buddies does not verify the identity, background, qualifications, health, or suitability of users or events. Our requirement for real names and profile photos is to promote trust — it does not constitute identity verification or a safety guarantee.
Buddies connects you. What happens after that is your and the other participants' responsibility.
9.3 Liability Limitation
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Buddies' total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid to Buddies during the preceding 12 months. During Early Access, when the service is free, liability is limited to 1,000 SEK.
We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, lost data, or consequential damages.
This limitation does not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence on our part, or where the limitation conflicts with mandatory legislation.
9.4 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fredrik Oredsson and Buddies from and against all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: - Your breach of these terms - Your conduct at events - Content you publish through the service - Your actions or omissions that cause harm to third parties
This includes claims from other users, property owners, authorities, or other third parties.
This clause applies to the extent permitted by applicable law.
10. Changes
We may change these terms. For material changes, we will notify you via the app in good time before the changes take effect. If you do not accept the new terms, you may terminate your account.

11.2 Our Termination
We may terminate or restrict your account if you violate these terms.
12. Disputes and Applicable Law
These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes should primarily be resolved through dialogue. For consumer disputes, Buddies generally follows the recommendations of the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN). If a dispute cannot be resolved, it will be settled by Swedish courts.
